Incheon-Seoul Airport
flying in over the airport
Make sure to notice the layout. You will probably be coming in to the end of the right hand "ear" and when you get off you will make the journey to the arc. When you get to the base of the "ear", you will need to go to the transfer desk not out of the airport. This will take you through a scanner and up the stairs to the main airport.
closer
great airport!
In the main arch of the airport
The transit hotels are upstairs.

be sure not to go outside of the airport unless you are supposed to, if you need to stay in the transit hotel in the airport, stay in the airport or there will be a hotel in town that you will have to be transported to and it will be about an hour ride both ways. Also, when you have your child with you, you cannot take him/her out of the airport because your child will be considered a Russian citizen and not allowed. Your child will not be an American citizen until the plane touches down on American soil.
this is one of the Transit hotels.

the choice today was a small bag with knotted cord(for a signature seal) or a painted paper mache box. Other times I made a painted fan, a knotted bracelet and a small kite.
oh yeah, and this cute little bracelet.

In the toilet in the airport
this "etiquette bell" makes the sound of a babbling brook so that you are not heard while you use the toilet. It took a bit of courage to press it because I was sort of afraid that someone would come running out to help me or something.
On the Asiana flight
coming across Japan and over to Korea
heading up to Yuzhno Sakhalinsk
Not a very long flight at all.
on the Asiana flight back to the US
The flight attendants were wonderful. We sat in the prepping area to keep the girls from disturbing the other passengers because they bumped us from our flight and since we ended up waiting another 24 hours in the airport in Incheon, we got put in business class with the leather seats! However, the girls were so scared that they disturbed the other business men, we ended up in this area most of the flight. But they were so nice to us and helped so much that it worked out great. I think that I got to sit in my leather wide seat for about an hour overall.
